How We Work: Referral Disclosure

Fix It Roof Repair is a referral service. We don’t perform roofing work ourselves.

What we do

When you call or book online, we collect details about your roof and your location and arrange an independent roofing contractor who works in your area to inspect your roof. If you choose to hire that contractor, your agreement is directly between you and them.

How we’re paid

We may receive compensation from the contractor, such as a referral fee or a share of the job. You don’t pay us anything, and the roof inspection is free to you.

What the contractor is responsible for

The contractor you hire is responsible for:

• the quote, the contract, and the work itself;
• their own insurance, workplace (WSIB) coverage where required, and any permits;
• workmanship and any warranty they offer.

Your choices and rights

• You’re under no obligation to hire the contractor, and you’re free to get other quotes.
• In Ontario, renovation contracts over $50 must be in writing. If you sign a contract in your home, you generally have a 10-day cooling-off period to cancel. See Your rights when starting home renovations or repairs (Government of Ontario).
